It seems I take a lot of photos of the boys from behind! I think it captures their essence so much more than when they pose for a pic. We walk just about everyday and everyday they collect things. This is just another example of the treasures they find...no matter the size, they must bring it home!!!

After going back and forth for about a year, we decided to invest in an HD video camera. We've been using our Canon SD1000 (point-and-shoot)to take videos and it does a great job but this has a lot more advantages.

We think we finally found the reason Kayla has been losing weight/muscle the past year. She apparently isn't digesting protein. We now have to put enzymes on each meal to help her digest it and hopefully she will start gaining weight!

Now that the days are a bit cooler, the boys and I have started walking Kayla in the afternoons again. This is the pond we walk by and this is one of the best trees in the park with it's golden leaves hanging over the pond. I actually have lots of pic of this tree!

I really wanted to take Kayla for a walk before the rain so first thing this morning I put the boys in the stroller, jammies and all and we headed out. It was cold but we all had fun! I think I'm the only one I know who has a 5 and 7 year old that love to ride in a stroller, lol!

I bought this packaged soup awhile ago and was saving it for a cold day. Today was the day and it was yummy! I added some shredded chicken and a can of Rotel to spice it up a notch along with some shredded cheese topping! I'm ready to try more soups from this brand!

I had to get a picture of Riley's latest obsession! Every morning when he gets out of bed he fills this bag with his collection of "favorite stuff" from his bed that he "has to take downstairs" with him! He knows everything that's suppose to be in this bag and gets really annoyed if something's missing. The bag is so full he can hardly carry it. At bedtime he empties it out and puts everything back into his bed...all ready to do over again the next day! Oh, and he likes me to keep his empty bag safely tucked away on my nightstand during the night all ready for him to grab in the morning to fill :)

I was so excited to see a new bird at my feeder today! I did some research and found out it is a Red-Breasted Nuthatch! I recently put a different kind of food in my feeder that has peanut chips and I guess that's what attracted him!
