I swapped out this photo for the one I originally picked for this day. (Riley sleeping with his bear). The previous photo was of poor quality(grainy with a red colorcast) and I just couldn't make it better. Good thing I took other pictures this day!

I finally bought an exercise ball! Hopefully when my back stops hurting I'll be able to use this for some core strengthening exercises. For now it's comfy to sit on :)

March 15, 2009

Well this isn't the most exciting picture but I had to take a picture of something to indicate that I threw my back out...again. These are the back exercises that I've been doing but something still snapped and once again I'm living on ibuprofen, heat and ice.

Ever since reading the article on 'panning' (showing movement in photos) I've been practicing and practicing the technique all day. I've taken tons of shots... most were deleted, a few were ok but I liked this one the best! My second favorite was THIS PHOTO.

March 13, 2009

The boys set up a huge Geotrax city this morning and played with it most of the day. I took so many photos but decided on this one as my POTD. I like how Kayla sabotaged the track and Hunter has a determined look on his face to drive his train over her legs. She could've cared less about the whole thing. We had already moved her off the track once but not before I snapped this PHOTO. Also, for those interested in photography, I was practicing a technique called 'panning' which basically shows motion in a photo. In the first pic, the camera was still while the object moved HERE. In this second, more difficult shot, I have to move the camera with the object trying to keep it in focus HERE.
