We spent much of the day shopping for new Christmas tree lights. We weren't impressed with anything we found so we just went with our same old lights!

After having an artificial Christmas tree all my life, we decided to get a real one this year. It was fun looking at the different trees, drinking hot cocoa and eating candy canes. Next year, we will head to the mountains and chop one ourselves!

We bought a set of vanilla scented 'flameless' candles at Costco and I love them. They even have a timer to turn on automatically at the same time every day and auto shut off!

Hunter finally got his 120th star in Super Mario Galaxy(Wii) and was able to unlock his favorite character...Luigi! He says he was able to get the last (and hardest) 8 stars because of his 'Lucky Luigi Hat' !

One of my favorite bloggers, The Pioneer Woman (Ree Drummond) came to Denver for a book signing for her new cookbook! My SIL and I headed down for the signing but after waiting 2 1/2 hours we finally gave up and left without meeting her. I did get a picture of her and someone in line took our 'Picture with Pioneer Woman' If you look closely between our heads, you can see her back there signing books at the table. :)
